Turn Island State Park is a beautiful island that is just a short paddle away from San Juan Island. Locals are even known to use a row boat for the short, protected crossing. Eagles, seals, and shorebirds are common to see as is it a bit quieter that Friday Harbor just to the East. The San Juan Islands are lucky to have many Islands that are managed by the State Park system, which means all can enjoy them!
